Garage & Roof

We had a really bad storm in Arizona on August 2nd, 2005. I guess that means it is time to get that roof re-done. While I'm at it, why not just extend the roof line and convert the car port into a garage. (Something I'd considered doing all along, now is as good a time as any right?)

*Update 9.2.2006 Garage enclosed, Stucco prep work done, Lights and most of the electrical done, Rain gutters up, and new porch tiled.

Stucco completed

Here is a close up of the Chicken Wire, New Tile, New Rain Gutter, and New Lights.

I took out the gate on the side, half because it was falling over, half because I wanted it out of the way of the stucco guys.

Got Foam! Now the Garage is ready for Stucco.

The house is ready for stucco.

Caryn and Rusty (mostly Caryn) would like credit for helping pick out the new porch and garage lights.

Here is a closeup of the tile

I got some slate tile from a friend and tiled the front walkway.

It took some time but the garage has been enclosed.

The Roof is now officially completed.

Roof is gone and the Garage has commenced

Other spots where the tape is coming down.

Another picture of the waterspot with the tape coming down.

The biggest waterspot in the patio.

Water damage to the framewood and the drywall over the car port.

There was more damage then these to pictures but because of the lighting I couldn't get them.

Water damage in the Attic to the frame wood.

Water damage done to the plywood of the Attic Ladder

The water damage was the worst above the Car Port.

Here are some new water spots in the Pool Table room

The shingles came right off the roof.
